- Wireline skid with Crane
1.INTRODUCTION
The Crane is designed to lift PCE or a full tool string into place even when fully extended at shallow angles. Operating time is reduced through the combined benefits of single vehicle operations.
This Unit contains Slickline Single Drum, Crane Unit , that is mounted on a Truck
Chassis. The slickline unit is complete with PTO for winch and crane hydraulic system powered by the Truck Chassis Engine. This Unit will have a Two (2) Compartment Cabin layout (separate Operating Cabin and Winch Compartments) and a single Drum Setup that will be able to run 0.108" slickline on the drum. The cabin is mounted on a single slewing base and drums can be rotated 30 degrees to one side of the unit, so that drum can align with the wellhead making rig-up easily and quickly. The unit is reliability, sustainability and operator safety and comfort.
The crane shall be a telescope crane fitted at the rear of the unit with the following features:
- Lifting capacity: 5,000 kg @8.5 m
- Max lifting radius: 23.6 m
- Telescopic crane sections
- Traveling block
- Fabricated steel frame construction
- Open operator console design
- Rear crane mounted structure with 360 degree rotation of crane boom system
- Hydraulic rear levelling/support outrigger set integrated into structure
- Base structure to accept Power Take Off (PTO) system
2 Operating Cabin
The Operating Cabin will include the following specific components/features:
- Steel netting for wire hitting and flying of glass
- Two top mounted AC will be installed in the Cabin. Each air conditioner cooling capacity is around 12000 BTU.
- Plastic grass model Floor mat in cabin.
- Work desks with rounded corners and drawers.
- 24 VDC LED interior lamps.
- Cabin will be fully wired with all required light switches.
- Ergonomic chair for winchman.
- Bench for 3 persons.

- Seat bench with storage space under the bench.
- Fans are installed on both sides wall (if the air conditioner is broken, spare use)
- Coffee kettle.
- Radio Am and FM.
- Micro oven.
- Water dispenser, hot and cold water.
- Fire extinguisher.
Installed in the Operating Cabin will be a Control Panel with digital display and other Control functions with the following features:
- Stainless steel body, winch console, Benchmark display panel
- Display or Gauges for hydraulic main pressure, control pressure and Hydraulic oil temperature
- Chassis Engine control (engine start, stop, rpm adjusting )
- Chassis Engine monitoring system with display (tachometer, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge)
- Hydraulic control lever for pump/motor control of speed/direction of the winch
- Switch for Horn installed on the Winch Console
- Digital clock
- BOP control panel is mounted in the operation cabin, ease to control the BOP in the cabin of operation
The Winch Console is also arranged with: system pressure gauge, charge pressure gauge,
negative pressure gauge, air pressure gauge, system pressure regulating valve, emergency
relief valve, winch handle (by forward the lever or pull spooling slickline on the drum or to
spool slickline off the drum ), horn switch, drum brake control valve, measuring display panel, etc. The layout of each operating handle meets the requirements of ergonomics andoperating habits.
